SIA Refresher Training
Any door supervisor or security officer SIA licence holder who achieved their qualification prior to April 2021 (and, therefore, holds the ‘old’ versions of these qualifications) will still have to complete top up training before "Refreshing"
when re-applying for their licence. If you have completed the Top-Up training you will have to Refresh every 3 years.
SIA REQUIREMENTS
Learners will need to show that they hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate* that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. It is an SIA requirement that training centres must confirm that each learner is sufficiently qualified in First Aid or Emergency First Aid.
Learners should present their First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate* to their training provider before they start training. This certificate* must be valid for at least 12 months from the course start date.
This certificate must be verifiable (NOT an online course).
THIS COURSE MUST INCLUDE LIFE THREATENING BLEEDS (Catastrophic Bleeds) and AIRWAY MANAGEMENT.
Complete the online ACT and ACT Security Training within the last 3 months.
Both Certificates are required to attend the training.
